Kaharingan. This word may be unfamiliar to most people. But if you mention the word Daya (Dayak), a large possibility everyone will know. That Kaharingan is the belief of the Dayak.
Kaharingan derived from Sangen language (ancient Dayak) whose root is '' Haring '' Haring means exist and grow or life symbolized by Rod Crisp or the Tree of Life.
As with other local religions in the archipelago, where they almost neglected, and marginalized. For some people, Kaharingan regarded as Helo Religion aka the old religion, Religion Huran aka ancient religion, or religionreligious aka Tattoo-Hiang ancestors.

At the top there is a hornbill and the sun which symbolizes that the origin of life is derived from the above. Hornbills and the sun is a symbol symbols Mahatala Ranying Sky which is the source of all life.
So the core symbol of the tree of life is balance or harmony between human beings, human beings with human, human with nature and human with God.
